An apology from me.
Whilst trying to provide the ultimate O-Book for all computer users, I was advised that MAC computers had a Virtual PC Emulator installed that would enable their owners to download and enjoy 'The Onion Footprint'. It has however been brought to my attention since 'The Onion Footprint' has been released that that information is not entirely true and an emulator and a Windows OS will have to be downloaded prior to the download of the required DNL reader and subsequent O-Book download. ....... I am soooo sorry. 
The O-Team and I understand that this is way too much to ask of anyone, and with this in mind .... and after trying to find a solution .... I have come to the regrettable decision that 'The Onion Footprint' is currently not available for Mac Users.
